Ingredients
- 4 garlic (cloves)
- 2 chili pepper (fresh red)
- 2 cans
- 1 3/8 cups variation if you are unable to find mam nem sauce
- 1 c pineapple (minced fresh)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh)
- 1/4 cup nuoc mam
- 3 tb lemon juice (fresh)
- 3 tb mam nem
- 3 tb nuoc mam
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tb sugar
- 1 1/2 ts rice vinegar
- some restaurants have it but you might have to ask for it
tablespoons pineapple or water Combine the garlic, chile and sugar in a mortar and pestle and pound to a fine paste. Add the anchovies and mash to a very smooth paste.
