- 2 eggs

- 550 gr sugar
- 450 gr all purpose flour
- 375 gr flour
- 280 gr butter
- 250 gr sugar
- 240 ml milk
- 240 ml water
- 230 gr butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs
- 200 gr sugar
- 60 gr walnuts
- 45 gr cornstarch
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 14 gr baking powder
- 4 gr vanilla
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr mace
Spread the cooled fruit mixture over the batter. Spoon the remaining batter in small mounds over the fruit mixture, spreading out as much as possible, Combine the half cup sugar and half cup flour; cut in the quarter cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle nut mixture over batter in pan. Bake 45-50 minutes for a 9x13 pan or 40-45 minutes for the two 8x8 pans, or until cake tests done. Cool.
