Ingredients
- 22 apple pie filling
- 1/2 bran cereal (whole)
- 300 ml milk
- 160 gr quick-cooking rolled oats
- 110 gr butter
- 75 gr brown sugar
- 40 gr wheat flour (whole)
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 2 gr lemon peel (finely shredded)
- 1 gr baking soda
- 1 gr cinnamon
- 1 gr nutmeg
- 1 gr ginger
- 1 package regular butterscotch pudding
Mix oats, cereal, flour, sugar, soda and spices. Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly. Pat half the mixture into a 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Bake in 180ºC oven 10 minutes. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions except use the 1.5 cups milk. Pour over crumb layer. Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over pudding. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake, uncovered, in 180ºC oven 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or cool with ice cream, if desired.
