Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion
- 1/2 barley
- 850 ml water
- 350 ml skim milk
- 180 gr broccoli (pieces)
- 130 gr carrots
- 55 gr cheddar cheese
- 32 gr flour
- 9 gr chicken soup mix
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr pepper
Combine all but last 3 ingredients in 3 litre pot. Bring to boil, then simmer 15 minutes till barley is tender. Mix glour into half c milk and add. Add rest of milk. Cook about five minutes till thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Cover and let stand 3-5 minutes.
