Ingredients
- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2,800 ml water (fresh)
- 700 ml water in a bowl
- 300 gr dry beans (red)
- 240 gr rice (hot cooked)
- 60 gr onion (chopped)
- 2 gr salt
- 1 gr fennel seed
- 1 gr pepper (ground red)
Uncover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes more or till a thick gravy forms. Discard bay leaf. Serve over rice.
