- 2 egg whites
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 chocolate dough
- 1/2 almond dough on a well-floured work surface
- 250 gr flour
- 200 gr sugar
- 60 gr almonds
- 32 gr chocolate
- 20 ml water
- 10 gr instant coffee powder
- 5 gr cocoa powder
- 5 gr baking powder
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 2 gr baking soda
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr almond extract
Transfer the logs to a rack to cool. Reduce the oven temp to 150ºC . Cut the logs diagonally into 1 cm thick slices. Stand the slices upright on the baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. Let cool before storing. Makes about 4 dozen biscotti. ----
