Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 160 gr mini-chocolate chips
- 160 gr quick-cooking oats
- 110 gr brown sugar
- 95 gr shortening
- 95 gr flour
- 60 gr walnuts
- 50 gr sugar
- 2 gr vanilla extract
- 2 gr baking soda
- 1 gr salt
Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat all ingredients except walnuts and chips until well mixed, occasionally scraping bowl. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls, 3 cm apart, onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 190ÂșC or dozen minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately remove cookies to wire racks and let cool.
Yield: 3 dozen.
