Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 fat
- 160 gr rolled oats
- 130 gr granulated sugar
- 70 gr coconut meat (shredded)
- 65 gr all purpose flour
- 2 gr vanilla extract
- 2 gr orange rind
- 1 gr salt
Recipe by: Mary M McBride's Encyclopedia of Cooking Preheat oven to 350 to 375 degrees; grease cookie sheets. Sift the flour, salt and sugar into a mixing bowl. Add the fat, eggs, vanilla extract and orange rind; blend thoroughly. Fold in the oats and coconut. Drop from a teaspoon 5 cm apart onto the cookie sheets. Flatten with a knife which has been dipped in cold water. Bake for 10 to dozen minutes. Remove from cookie sheets immediately. Penny Halsey (ATBN65B). ----
