Ingredients
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 onion
- 1 salt
- 2,800 ml water (cold)
- 250 gr kidney (dried)
- 140 gr chestnuts (dried)
- 120 gr rice (uncooked)
- 20 ml olive oil
chestnuts are soft (about 1.5 hours). Add rice, oil, and seasonings. Stir constantly with wooden spoon, until rice is tender (about 20 minutes). If necessary, add more water as it is absorbed by the rice. Serve immediately.
