Ingredients
- 2 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 700 ml beef broth
- 450 gr stew beef
- 24 gr flour
- 16 ml vegetable oil
- 5 ml sauce (hot)
- 3 gr black pepper
- 2 gr garlic powder
- 2 gr thyme leaves (dried)
- 1 gr cayenne pepper
- 1 gr cumin
- 3 slices stalks celery
- 3 slices carrots
Combine flour, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and cumin in a plastic bag. Add meat cubes a few at a time, shaking to coat. Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add meat and brown. Add onion and thyme. Cook until onion is tender. Add beef broth and hot sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add potatoes, celery, and carrots. Cover and simmer for 1.5 hours. Serves 6.
