Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts (boneless)
- 5 from heat source until golden brown (inches)
- 3 fennel bulbs
- 3 bell peppers (red cut into)
- 2 batches
- 1 bon appetits menu menu for broiled chicken endive
- 1 drizzle butter mixture over chicken
- 1 thyme sprigs (fresh optional garnish)
- 3/4 total trimmed
- 1/2 thickness
- 1 pound day
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 teaspoons thyme (chopped fresh)
- 2 teaspoons lemon peel (finely grated)
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds (crushed)
- 1 slice wide
- some salt and pepper
Notes: Melted butter laced with thyme, fennel seeds and lemon peel is drizzled over the chicken for terrific flavor. The fennel bulbs and bell peppers, both of which are also broiled, add a lot of color and taste. Pour a Sauvignon Blanc to accompany this dish.
