Carrot Cake With An Indian Flavor

Ingredients

  • 9 in diameter (inches)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 in height with the vegetable oil (inches)
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 c carrots firmly packed (grated)
  • 1 c unbleached flour (white)
  • 1 cup flour with the baking soda
  • 1/4 c softened clarified butter
  • 2 tb raisins
  • 2 tb pistachios (chopped)
  • 2 tb blanched almonds (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 ts vegetable oil
  • 1 ts baking soda
  • 1/4 ts salt
  • 1/4 ts cardamom seeds (ground)

the top is golden red. Decorate top with edible silver foil. *
