Ingredients
- 6 garlic (cloves minced)
- 2 limes (minced)
- 2 green onions
- 1 chicken split in (whole)
- 3/8 cup lime juice (fresh)
- 3/8 cup hoisin sauce
- 3/8 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (thin)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3/8 cup rice wine
- 2 tablespoons ginger (finely minced)
- 1 cup mixed basil (chopped fresh)
- 1 tablespoon asian chili sauce
- 1/4 cup parsley (chopped fresh)
Combine marinade ingredients and cover chicken with marinade in a bowl or sealable plastic bag. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours before grilling. Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium heat about 12 minutes per side, or until done. Baste occasionally with marinade while cooking. Serves 4.
