Ingredients
- 8 filling
- 6 1/2 walnut (halves)
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/8 c corn syrup
- 1/4 c semisweet mini chocolate
- 1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 1/4 c golden crisco shortening
- 1 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 c coconut (shredded)
- 2 tb all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 ts vanilla
- 1/4 ts salt
temperature to 375F (190C) . Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until filling is set in centre. Cover edge with foil, if necessary, to prevent overbrowning. Cool to room temperature before serving. Makes: One 8-inch (20 cm) pie ----
