Ingredients
- 42 sift flour (together)
- 20 sheet of wax paper
- 12 long in middle
- 3 wide
- 1 1/2 on parchment paper-lined cookie shee bake at (apart)
- 1 1/2 high
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 c sifted flour
- 1 c butter
- 1/2 c brown sugar (light)
- 1/2 c granulated sugar
- 2 tb milk
- 1 ts cinnamon (ground)
- 1 ts nutmeg (ground)
- 1 ts ginger (ground)
- 1/2 ts baking soda
- 1/4 ts allspice (ground)
- 1/2 ts salt
reversing sheets top to bottom and front to back once or twice during baking. When cookies are nicely browned and spring back when gently pressed, about 10 minutes, transfer to racks to cool. Store in airtight containers. ----
