Ingredients
- 8 dry ingredients (together)
- 1 egg
- 2 c icing sugar
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c crisco shortening
- 3/4 c milk
- 2 tb milk
- 3/8 c cocoa
- 3/4 ts baking powder
- 3/4 ts baking soda
- 1 ts cinnamon
- 1/2 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/2 ts nutmeg
- 1/4 ts almond extract
milk to make a medium glaze consistency. Colour, if desired. Spread over a few cookies at a time, sprinkle with candy decorations. Let glaze set before storing. Makes: About 5 dozen cookies. Freezing: Excellent ----
