Ingredients
- 4 loaf (pan)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 green cabbag (finely shredded)
- 1 cup only one type of cabbage but for the sake of color would choose cabbage (red)
- 1 c wheat flour (whole)
- 1/2 c non (plain)
- 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 1/4 c orange juice concentrate
- 1/4 c powdered nonfat milk
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 c canola oil
- 1/2 c cabbage (finely shredded red)
- 1/4 c sesame seeds (toasted)
- 1 tablespoon sugar replace concentrate
- 2 ts baking powder
- 1 ts lemon juice
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/8 ts mace
- 1/8 ts ginger (ground)
minutes or until a tester inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Turn the bread out onto a rack to cool completely before slicing. This is a great bread to serve with a soup or salad meal. After the first day, it is wonderful toasted. Try it, too, as a sandwich bread.
