Ingredients
- 2 dry yeast (active)
- 2 egg (white)
- 1/2 shape
- 1/2 a ball (into)
- 3 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 1 cup cheese
- 5/8 c nonfat dry milk
- 1 c parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1/4 c lukewarm water
- 1 tb olive oil
- 2 ts sugar
- 1 1/2 ts salt
- 1/2 ts cayenne pepper (ground red)
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brush the risen loaves with beaten egg white. With a sharp knife, make three 1/2 inch deep slashes in each loaf. Sprinkle loaves with the remaining 1 tablespoon cheese. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the loaves sound hollow when tapped on the bottom. Cool on a wire rack. Makes two 6-inch loaves, 8 slices each. 170 calories per slice; 8 g protein, 3 g fat, 27 g carbohydrate, 147 mg sodium, 19 mg cholesterol
