Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 10 oz peanut butter chips
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 5/8 c semisweet
- 3/4 c butter
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar (light)
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1 ts vanilla
-chips Recipe by: St. Louis Post-Dispatch 5/20/96 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together flour and baking soda. In a large mixer bowl, beat shortening, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Let cool completely. ----
