Ingredients
- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 1 onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 parsley
- 1/2 food coloring (yellow)
- 2 cup water
- 1 pound shrimp
- 1 cup rice
- 3/4 cup tomatoes
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 pn saffron
- 1 package pimentos
Heat olive oil and saute the chopped garlic, onion, and green pepper. When half done, add the shrimp. When shrimp turns pink, add the tomatoes, saffron, salt, coloring and water. When mixture starts boiling, add 1 cup rice.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Garnish with peas, pimiento and parsley leaves.
