Ingredients
- 2 garlic (cloves crushed)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 jalapeno (chopped)
- 600 ml water
- 500 gr black beans
- 120 gr rice
- 16 ml olive oil
- 5 ml vinegar
- 5 ml wine (white)
- 4 gr sugar
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr black pepper
- 1 gr oregano
Heat 2 teaspoons olive oil in heavy pot, saute onion, garlic, and green pepper until tender. Add salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, bay leaf, black beans, and water. Bring to boil. Add rice. Turn heat to low, simmer half hour. Add vinegar and wine. When ready to serve, stir in 1 teaspoon olive oil. Serves 3 to 4. Recipe By :
