Ingredients
- 2 oatmeal
- 1 egg
- 120 ml honey
- 170 gr seedless raisins
- 160 gr all purpose flour
- 150 gr granulated sugar
- 140 gr shortening
- 5 gr baking soda
- 1 gr orange peel (grated)
- 1 gr salt
Cream together shortening, sugar, honey, egg and peel. Stir in flour, soda, salt and oats; beat well. Add raisins. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake abouve oven center at 190ºC or 8 to 10 minutes or until evenly browned. Let stand on sheets 2 to 3 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool. Makes about 36 cookies.
