- 1 egg
- 1/2 completely through dough (apart)
- 4 c all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c boiling water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 c old fashioned oats
- 1/2 c warm water
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/4 c sugar
- 3 tb butter
- 2 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 tb parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 ts salt
- 1/2 ts garlic powder
- 1 ts basil (dried)
- 1/2 ts oregano (dried)
- 2 packages dry yeast (active)
cheese, basil, oregano and garlic powder. Brush bread with remaining butter, sprinkle with cheese mixture. Bake for 5 min. Loosely cover with foil and bake 5 minutes longer. Serve warm. ----
