Ingredients
- 2 celery ribs
- 1 green peppers
- 1 pickled banana peppers
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tabasco
- 2 qt beef stock
- 2 lb beef (ground)
- 2 lb steak
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 1/4 c banana pepper juice
- 1/2 c onions (dried)
- 1/4 c bbq
- 2 oz chili powder
- 1 ts instant beef boullion
- 2 ts cumin
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts garlic (chopped)
- 1 ts paprika
- 1 ts onion powder
- 1 ts oregano
- 1/2 ts black pepper
- 1 pn pepper (crushed red)
- 1 pn basil
- 1 pn thyme
- 1 package onion soup mix
Peppers should be mild banana peppers, seeded and chopped. Brown both the ground beef and beef cubes. Drain most of the fat. Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Simmer for 2 hours. Correct seasonings and simmer for 1 more hour. Lisa Hlavaty *P FDGN81A 1/22/92 7:37pm
