Ingredients
- 8 tomatoes
- 3 garlic (cloves chopped)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 salt and pepper
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup wine (red)
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon thyme (fresh chopped)
- 6 slices bacon (diced)
- some in a stockpot
Add tomato paste, cayenne pepper sauce, and thyme. Puree with a hand blender or in food processor, then place back in pan and reheat if needed. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
