Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 pepper (fresh ground)
- 800 ml tomato sauce
- 260 gr italian sausage
- 250 gr cottage cheese
- 220 gr mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 130 gr spaghetti
- 120 gr onion (chopped)
- 38 gr spinach (frozen chopped thawed)
- 20 gr parmesan cheese
- 3 gr seasoned salt
- 1 gr oregano
- 1 gr basil
In large skillet cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is no longer pink, stirring often, drain. Stir in tomato sauce, half tsp seasoned salt, basil and oregano, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 15 minutes. In medium bowl, combine spinach, cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan, half tsp seasoned salt and pepper, mix well. Prepare spaghetti. Spread 1 cup meat mixture in 9 x 33 cm pan. Layer cooked spaghetti, remaining meat sauce, spinach mixture & mozzarella. Cover and bake in 190ÂșC oven about 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
