Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (whole)
- 700 ml tomato juice
- 240 gr onion
- 65 gr green pepper
- 50 gr celery
- 10 ml olive oil
- 6 gr chili powder
- 3 gr no-salt seasoning
- 1 gr cumin
- 1 gr basil
- 1 ml tabasco sauce
- 2 slices apples
- 2 packages kidney beans
- some garlic
-undrained In a Dutch oven, heat the oil and brown the chicken slightly. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the kidney beans and simmer for 1 hour. Add the kidney beans and simmer for an additional hour, or until the chili reaches the desired thickness. Each serving provides: 288 calories, 27 g protein, 6 g fat, 33 g carbohydrate, 857 mg sodium, 49 mg cholesterol.
