- 3 round torte with waxed paper to fit bottom (pan cut)

- 1 potato (raw)
- 1 germans sweet chocolate
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 marshmallows
- 2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2 c flour
- 1 c butter
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 lb almonds (chopped)
- 3/8 c butter
- 1/4 c boiling water
- 1 oz bitter chocolate
- 2 1/4 ts baking powder
- 1/2 ts butter
- 1/2 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts cinnamon
- 1/2 ts allspice
and greased and floured sides. Bake at 325~ for 1 hr, 15 min. Remove from oven and cool 5 min on a rack. Remove from pan and cool. cover with Marshmallow Icing. Melt 1 ounce bitter chocolate and 1/2 t butter in a small pan over boiling water. Spoon this mixture around edges of cake, let it run down the sides. MARSHMALLOW ICING: Cook brown sugar, butter and water in a boil until it reaches the softball stage. Add marshmallows and melt in a double boiler until spreadable. Beat in vanilla.
