- 280 gr firmly packed brown sugar
- 240 gr semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 220 gr all purpose flour
- 140 gr golden crisco shortening
- 65 gr coarsely pecans (chopped)
- 45 gr icing sugar
- 30 ml milk
- 14 gr vanilla
- 3 gr salt
- 3 gr baking soda
- 2 ml water
colour. Roll marzipan 0 cm (2 mm). Cut into holly leaf shapes using a sharp knife or small cutter. Place leaves on cooled cookies with paste. Add small red candies for holly berries. Allow to set completely before storing cookies. 3 dozen cookies. * If nuts are omitted, add an additional half cup (125 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips. ----
