Ingredients
- 400 degree
- 9 pie shell
- 4 pears
- 1 unbaked
- 4 1/2 cup total
- 1/2 c dark corn syrup
- 1 c unbleached flour
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c almonds
- 2 tb butter
- 3 tb cornstarch
- 1 t lemon juice
- 1/2 t ginger
- 1/2 t lemon rind
- 1/8 t salt
wire rack. ALMOND TOPPING: Combine the flour, brown sugar, and ginger in a bowl. Cut in the butter, using a pastry blender, until crumbly. Stir in the almonds.
