Ingredients
- 6 cardamom pods
- 2 green chilies
- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 1 onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 caraway seed
- 950 ml water
- 240 gr basmati rice
- 220 gr tomatoes
- 26 ml corn oil
- 5 gr sal if the mixture is dry
- 4 gr turmeric
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr chile powder
- 1 gr cumin seed
- 1 gr coriander seed
- 1 gr fenugreek seed
- 1 gr aniseed
cook the meat and sauce to order. Plain yoghurt may be substituted for the tomatoes if preferred. * Experiment with the seasonings.
