Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 parmesan cheese
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 italian seasoning
- 1 coca-cola
- 1 clove garlic
- 5,700 gr kettle
- 1,100 gr blade chuck roast
- 475 ml water
- 400 gr kidney beans
- 190 gr tomato paste
- 100 gr green peas
- 65 gr green beans
- 65 gr zucchini
- 65 gr carrots
- 50 gr celery
- 50 gr celery leaves
- 30 gr onion
- 16 ml worcestershire sauce
- 16 ml olive oil
- 7 gr parsley
- 6 gr salt
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr black pepper
- 2 slices bacon (sliced)
Place over low heat while preparing the rest of the ingredients. Pan-fry the bacon until crisp. Add the bacon and the drippings and all the remaining ingredients, except Parmesan cheese, to the broth. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, until the vegetables and macaroni are tender. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, if desired. Makes about 3 litre , or dozen servings.
