Ingredients

- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 3/4 c golden crisco shortening
- 1/2 c icing sugar
- 2 tb orange juice
- 1 tb vanilla
- 2 1/2 ts orange juice
- 1 1/2 ts orange liqueur
- 1 tb orange rind (finely grated)
- 1 ts salt
- 3/4 ts baking soda
liqueur. Stir until well blended. Brush on cookies immediately upon removing from oven. Remove cookies to foil cool completely. Makes: About 3 dozen cookies ----
