Ingredients
- 2 garlic (minced cloves)
- 1 1/2 fish
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 qt water
- 1 lb shrimp (raw)
- 1/4 c oil
- 1/2 c onion (minced)
- 3 tb dry sherry
- 2 tb soy sauce
- 2 tb cornstaraach
- 1 t orange rind (grated)
- 1/2 ts chili peppers (dried ground)
- 1/4 ts anise
- 1/4 ts saffron
- 2 packages pineapple (crushed)
a little water to make a smooth paste and stir into the soup until thickened. Add the pineapple and cook 5 minutes longer. Taste for seasoning. Discard the bay leaf. Serve with boiled rice. Serves 8-10 Pineapple Fish Chowder KA DIAM DUA viet nam
