Ingredients
- 9 pie dish with your pastry
- 1 onion
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 turnip
- 1 dice
- 1 carrot
- 1 egg
- 2 lb sirloin tips
- 2 c chicken stock
- 3/4 c wine (red)
- 1/2 c peas (frozen)
- 2 tb oil
- 2 tb flour
- 1/2 ts garlic (finely minced)
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1 1/2 ts sage (dried)
Cover the top of the pie with the rest of your pastry. Poke a few holes in the top to allow steam to escape during baking. Brush lightly with egg. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
