Ingredients
- 6 garlic (cloves crushed)
- 2 powder
- 1 cooking liquid
- 1 sweet onion (finely chopped)
- 1 sour cream
- 1/4 cube
- 4 quarts water
- 2 qt water
- 3 quart dutch oven
- 2 lb beef (lean)
- 15 1/2 oz cans
- 1 1/2 c dry pinto beans
- 1 c tomato juice (optional)
- 1/2 lb pure beef suet (ground)
- 4 oz green chilies (chopped)
- 8 ts paprika
- 8 ts cumin powder
- 2 tb unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp drippings
- 1 t pepper (white)
chili to a medium consistency. If a thinner chili is desired, use reserved bean juice. To serve, add warm pinto beans to chili or serve as a side dish. Add a dollop of sour cream on each bowl. This is a spicy, meaty chili. Yields: 2 quarts
