- 1,900 ml water
- 1,400 gr dutch oven
- 900 gr beef (lean)
- 450 gr cans
- 350 gr dry pinto beans
- 240 ml tomato juice (optional)
- 230 gr pure beef suet (ground)
- 65 gr green chilies (chopped)
- 18 gr paprika
- 16 gr cumin powder
- 12 gr unsweetened cocoa powder
- 12 gr drippings
- 3 gr pepper (white)
chili to a medium consistency. If a thinner chili is desired, use reserved bean juice. To serve, add warm pinto beans to chili or serve as a side dish. Add a dollop of sour cream on each bowl. This is a spicy, meaty chili. Yields: 2 litre
