  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1 c butter
  • 500 g kataifi pastry
  • 1 c coarsely almonds (ground)
  • 1 c coarsely walnuts (ground)
  • 1/2 c caster sugar
  • 1 tb honey
  • 1 tb brandy
  • 1 ts lemon juice
  • 1 ts cinnamon (ground)
  • 1 slice of lemon rind (thin)
  • some butter over strands
